How to generate and download a verification report

Overview. When a check is complete, IdentityCheck produces a report PDF that captures the outcome and, if you choose, the captured images and any screening results. This is the piece of evidence you keep for your file. This article covers generating and downloading that report for a single check, and exporting a CSV list across many checks.

Generate and download a report PDF

  1. Go to your dashboard (identity.stackgo.io/dashboard) and open the verification you want, by clicking into the person's record.
  2. Look for the Download PDF button. It appears once the check has finished with a result of Positive, Negative or Review. If the check is still in progress, expired or awaiting resubmission, there is no report yet and the button will not show.
  3. Click Download PDF to open the PDF options. Here you choose what goes in the report:
    • Include images. The captured ID and selfie images (offered while the images are still available, usually 45 days).
    • Include PEP/Sanctions. Shown when the check has PEP or sanctions screening results.
    • Include adverse media. Shown when the check has adverse-media results.
  4. Click Generate PDF. The report downloads to your device, named Identity Verification Report.

You only see the options that actually have data for that check.

A note on the 45-day image window

Captured images are retained for about 45 days after the check. If you open a report for a verification older than that, IdentityCheck tells you the images are no longer available and generates the report without them. The summary itself is unaffected. Good practice: download the PDF while a check is recent, so your file always has the complete record.

Export a list of prior checks as CSV

To keep a record across many clients rather than one report at a time, use the download (CSV) button on the dashboard. It exports the checks currently shown in your table to a spreadsheet, with each person's id, first and last name, check type, result, email and dates. Use the CSV for the list view and the PDF for the full report on any single check.

Automating the download on integrations

On some integrations, including HubSpot and FYI Docs, saving the report can be automated, so the PDF lands in your connected system without a manual download. You switch this on in the integration settings.

Privacy and security. A report PDF contains sensitive identity information and images. Download and store it only where you genuinely need to, keep it somewhere secure, and follow your firm's data-handling and retention policy.

Frequently asked

How do I download a report for a completed check? Open the verification from your dashboard. Once a check has a result, a Download PDF button appears. Click it, choose which sections to include (images, PEP/Sanctions, adverse media), then click Generate PDF. The report downloads as Identity Verification Report.

The Download PDF button is not showing. Why? The report is only available once the check has finished with a result of Positive, Negative or Review. A verification that is still active, expired or awaiting resubmission has no report yet. Finish or resend the check first.

Can I export a list of all my checks at once? Yes. On the dashboard there is a download button that exports the checks currently in your table to a CSV file. Use this for a spreadsheet record; use the PDF for the full report on an individual check.
