Adding your firm's logo and branding
Overview. You can brand what your client sees so a verification looks like it comes from your firm, not a generic tool. You can add your logo and wording to the verification emails and the reminder emails, and add your logo to your onboarding forms. This article covers all three, and is clear about what branding does and does not reach.
Add your logo and wording to verification emails
- Go to Custom Emails (identity.stackgo.io/account/custom-emails) in your account settings.
- Turn on Enable Custom Emails. The fields become editable.
- Fill in what you want to brand:
- Logo URL. A public web address pointing to your logo image. 200 by 50 pixels displays best. Leave it blank to use the default IdentityCheck image.
- Subject. The subject line of the verification email.
- Reply to Email. The address a client reaches if they reply.
- Email Body. Your own wording.
- Account Name and Language are also available.
- Save. New verification emails then go out with your branding.
Your logo needs to be hosted somewhere public so the email can load it.
Do the same for reminder emails
Reminder emails are branded separately, in the same way. Go to Reminders (identity.stackgo.io/account/reminders) and set your logo and wording there too, so a reminder looks as branded as the first email.
Add your logo to your onboarding forms
You can also put your logo on your forms:
- Go to Forms (identity.stackgo.io/account/forms).
- Click the view (eye) icon on the form you want.
- Click Edit.
- Add your logo.
- Click the save (disk) icon to save.
Where your branding appears
- The verification email and reminder emails: your logo in the header, plus your subject, reply-to and wording.
- Your onboarding forms: your logo, once you have added it.
What branding does not cover
- The verification session itself is IdentityCheck-branded, and can only be changed on Enterprise tiers.
- You cannot remove the IdentityCheck logo from the email, and that is deliberate: it reassures clients to see it before they enter the verification session.
- The report PDF is not firm-branded. The downloadable report carries the IdentityCheck logo, not yours.
- It is a logo and text, not a full brand kit. There is no separate control for brand colours or fonts on the client-facing pages.
If firm-branded reports or fuller branding would help your firm, let us know through a support request and we will factor it in.
Frequently asked
Can I add my firm's logo to what my client receives? Yes. In Custom Emails, turn on custom emails and paste a public URL to your logo (200 by 50 pixels works best). Do the same under Reminders for reminder emails, and you can add your logo to your onboarding forms from the Forms page.
Can I change the email wording as well as the logo? Yes. Custom Emails lets you set your own subject line, reply-to address and email body, alongside the logo. Reminder emails can be branded the same way.
Does my logo appear on the report PDF, or replace the IdentityCheck branding in the verification session? No to both. The report and the verification session carry IdentityCheck's branding (the session is only changeable on Enterprise tiers). Your branding applies to the verification and reminder emails, and your forms.
